Matthew 22:39 "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

The Rumors are true!, I am yet among you and blessed to be. I would like to start the post by expressing my upmost thanks and gratitude to all my readers and supporters who've encouraged me during my half a year hiatus. Thank you to those who visited the site just to catch up or invited others to read, those who signed up for emails and notifications, those who inquired about the blog and have stationed areas in their businesses that promote the blog and those who pushed and encouraged me to write and edit throughout the months. A simple thank you would never do a justice to just how thankful I truly am, but the one I thank the most is my heavenly Father above who grants me my ability to even grace this earth, let alone operate a site! Thank you, thank you, and again. Thank you :).

Now for my reasons for leaving. For those of you who have been with me since Tumblr, you have witnessed me leave for numerous reasons, either it be finances, personal troubles or just being uninspired. You all have heard it all really, and It was this habit that needed to be addressed and dealt with if I expected the blog to be even the least bit successful. I needed better content and consistency in my work, nothing rushed and nothing too drawn out. I needed other sets of eyes to review my blog and tell what needed to be done in order to reel in my target audience and maintain a blog that is consistent not only in its publications and schedules but its entire purpose which is to educate, inform and entertain about topics of varying literature, writing and spiritual enlightenment through both. I left, regrouped and most importantly, I slept, ate and breathed WRITING. I maintained 5 pages a day and updated my social media accounts daily, if not that then I was reading and reviewing books in my collection, all for the sake of coming back stronger than I had been and I am so very happy to be back!

NOW, without further or do, I present, an archive of what it is you should be expecting from the Quill and what tomorrow holds for future posts!

-My intentions for the blog was supposed to not only speak about my writing journey but document my spiritual journey as well. Aside from my career as a writer, I want it to be known that I AM a believer of Christ and I have intentions of my work to reflect that. My relationship with Christ is vital to my creativity and recognizing myself as a creation of the creator, I have a responsibility to uphold in terms of my life choices and whom it is that Leads and Directs me Daily. So there will be more posts that are related to this and how it connects with my writing as well and I invite you to join me in open discussions about how he inspires you through your work as well.
