Verse of the Day:
Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
As a little girl, nothing seemed right
If it wasn't my favorite color.
I chose it because I was told it was exclusive for girls and I liked having things that could only be mine.
Pink wasn't a color for me, it was a brand you

Were born with, something no one could take away or say you didn't deserve.
Although.... it felt unfair.... there were so many pretty colors to enjoy.....why did I have to only choose one?
Blue was next, but only because I was told I couldn't at first. "What sort of girl likes blue over pink?" They'd ask me...but it was as pretty as my pink just in a different hue and I ventured it's spectrum until
I found....yellow 💛
This color fit like a glove, just the way pink once had, but it was a glove I had to grow into, in order to fit. It was bright, beautiful, strong and showcased everything about me in a brilliant sunlit way....
Then I realized
How beautiful some colors look together
How growth didn't have to be a lonely adventure
And that I was free to choose healing AND change
That was the day...
That pink came back and was embraced once more
with a new friend in tow 💛🩷
