Verse of the day: "Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1
Apparently, weekend blogs may or may not be dedicated to festivals and events that may be going on in the Tallahassee area! (given the topic of last Saturday as well!) Today, I want to share my experiences at this years Fairy Festival, hosted by The Fuzzy Pineapple; a chic, pastel aesthetic and all around fun boutique located on South Adams Street! Their clothing and accessories are super adorable and the beautiful fairy running the event (who's name and picture I did not get!) could be seen flying from vendor to vendor among many other beautiful fairy-folk! Here are some pics from the small businesses present at the event as well as a sneak peak inside! (this is going on from now until 10!) so there's still time to read about it here, throw on some wings and go enjoy the party!

My absolute favorite elements about any event is food, fashion and vibe. I must say that this event passed all three, featuring some of Tallahassee's lovely local treats and delicacies such as the beignets featured here!

Here are some up close and personal shots from INSIDE The Fuzzy Pineapple! I can't wait to go back and do some REAL shopping! (Also, just a reminder that Mother's day is right around the corner so if you're looking for whimsical, cute and fun, this is the place to look!)

There were also art/ craft/ personal care shops out and about as well, such as Ivy and Bone, Moonchild Marie's The Dragons Den, Jenny's Soaps and Gifts, and Knotz and Mane!

There's nothing like being able to say you own beauty products that are locally made! be sure to stop by Jenny's Soaps and gifts. (Mother's day is right around the corner ya know?!)

These soaps are beautifully crafted and come in a wide variety of shapes, fragrances and names!

Every great event featuring local small businesses HAS to have some art somewhere, check out these gorgeously detailed wood burning and paintings!

Go and check out the festivities going on RIGHT NOW! :) Happy Saturday! Located on South Pensacola Street at The Fuzzy Pineapple from now until 10:00 p.m! Tell em The Quill sent ya ;) and as always!
