FOR NATLAN!!! Time for a Genshin Impact Blog!

I could NOT let this day go by without telling the world that I just experienced the rebirth of my love for Genshin! SO, it all started with the Fire Archon Quest: The Pilgrimage of the Contending Fire. Not only did I actually read the stories (vs running through all that awful dialogue) I really enjoyed this mission! it was beautiful, epic, and for me, it was a weird deja-vu/mix up moment where I realized every time someone said "for Natlan", I envisioned "For Narnia!" but Fire Nation (Avatar) and Sun warriors style! (I know that's a mesh up of a lot of things but TRUST me, you'll FEEl it) As of right now, Natlan and Fontaine are my favorite locations on the map and now that I've finished Natlans Archon quest, I'll do Fontaine's next (wish me luck).

After you finish the last battle in Natlan, there's the parade of blessings where you're rewarded and celebrated by the people of Natlan and the Archon herself, Mavuika! I earned 500 primogems for the quest which meant I had a chance at actually drawing for new characters! Okay, here's a little information about that:

Side quest begins, explanation time: Genshin is an open world game that has a gacha system for collecting different characters of various rankings throughout the game. You can "Wish" for the these characters with special materials called intertwined fates or aquainted fates. You can purchase these using Primogems (these items are earned through game play or you buy them with actual money) There are promotional banners that are available throughout the year that you can spend your fates on to get five star characters or any other character that may be available on that banner. (End side quest explanation)

In MY case, There are three five Star banner characters out right now and 3 four stars as well. TELL ME, HOW I actually managed to pull TWO 5 stars immediately after completing the fire archon quest!!!!!!! plus I already have all three of the four star characters for this month :') (Happy cheering) I feel BLESSED! This is the very first time that anything like that has ever happened for me and I'm very happy because, I've been really struggling with my mental healthy lately. I've prayed about it and this was a HUGE pick-me up :)

I haven't started building her yet (really wish I had a better picture but I was so excited I just snapped this with my phone!)

Okay, so SHE was my first pull and based on all the promotion and hype around her, I think I've got myself a jewel :), working on building her as I speak!

It's nice to know that a rich, compelling story isn't too far away when it comes the gaming community. If anything it's the stories that really keep me playing. It truly is a beautiful game and I can't wait for my next adventure! I'll keep ya posted!

(Completely unrelated to the topic: I WILL be writing about the Kendrick Lamar Super Bowl Performance, this IS Black History in the making!) :)
