Side note: Before I begin today's blog, for all my friends that are wondering what happened to last weeks letter to society and Saturdays Makeup video: I spent all day Friday preparing for my video on Saturday which bummed due to technical difficulties and products not really being the best, so I will be doing another video this Saturday but it will be the review portion missing from last weeks.
John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
I've learned in my short years on this Earth that no good ever comes to negative nancies and that although it is hard to always stay positive, it never hurts to try. I sat and compiled a list of 5 characteristics about people that I enjoy to counteract all the negatives that are a lot easier to find that we would like to admit, enjoy :)
1. Sense of humor
Everyone loves a good laugh, but evoking this out of people can be very hard (I've come to find the hard way), which is why I truly do admire comedians and those with a natural kick for putting a smile on everyone's faces.
2. The Intellectual and creative ability combined
While for some, most intelligence and creativity can come off as intimidating or ego driven, in some cases I find it admirable that a species can go through so many years of evolution and build from so little in the beginning, it's proof of God's own brilliant mind to have designed a being so capable of processing information and thriving from it!
3. Beauty
Say what you want, but there is something beautiful about everyone I have ever known, wither it was their outer or inner characteristics. Some people have gorgeous hair while others have a cute persona, I find something pretty about both!
4. Coping and adapting
Holding hands with number 2, being able to adapt to change seems to be something we were born with considering how vastly we have changed as a species since the beginning of time. I Find it fascinating the things we can evolve both within oursleves and the world around us.
5. Sympathy and Empathy
Where would we be without them??? While some give the impression of having neither, I can't make myself believe it does not exist. everyone has the ability to feel something, and the admirable thing about that is what some of us choose to do with it and that is work to make our world a better place for all.

photo is from wix but if I had to name it, it would be, "looking to a better place." :)
