Verse of the Day:"As the harth panteth after the water brooks, So panteth my soul after thee, O God." Psalm 42:1

*Just a ramble to express my love for the art of gaming :D

Video games have always fascinated me! My youngest brother Jarvis taught me to play through PS2 when we were children, and a few of my cousins had Game Boys that I would beg for and run the battery dead whenever they visited. (yeah, I was terrible at that!) The day I received my first PS2, I never looked back. Through the years I’ve played online in open world games via PC, Xbox, Nintendo DSI, PS5 and even VR!. This year, I had the luxury of being able to do a bit more gaming than I had in years after purchasing the newest handheld council, the Nintendo Switch!

I've come to realize now that games are practically movies that you can play. I find them to be so incredibly inspiring! I played on a VR system (that's virtual reality), For the first time last year and it took my breath away with the complete immersion of sound and space to create an interactive story we the gamer can be a part of. The attention to detail alongside the beauty of compelling story plots made it a fairly wholesome experience. When I play a video game now I feel as if I'm actually a part of what's going on, it's more of a personal experience and it's been heavily influencing a lot of my writing!

There's a lot that goes into writing a book that goes into creating a video game and it's so beautiful to watch something that I once simply enjoyed as a child grow into something that I can now enjoy and respect as an adult!

Let's chat! How do you all feel about video games? Comment below! and as always,

"For the love of life and literature, stay prayerful, stay positive and write on!"
