I had a completely different blog planned for today, it was supposed to be a simple and fun digital scrapbook of my favorite go-to hairstyle for the year (it's heatless bantu curls). However, after spending 2 hours choosing and editing photos, fitting them into the prompt and changing my mind about the format twice, I gave up and completely ditched any other blogs I may have had stored as a draft. Almost nothing aggravates me more than feeling creatively swindled and as badly as I wanted to have 12 new pieces of work waiting to go for March-April, I couldn't bring myself to work on anything else and the ONLY reason I'm writing this is because Genshin Impact is updating (Not sorry).

I spent the earlier parts of the morning scrapbooking and thinking of new materials I can work with. I also prepared "A Girl Name Amore" for its release day tomorrow! (available on lulu.com) :). Funny story about that, I realized when filling out the copyright information, description and genre section that I made a silly mistake: My TITLE was not exactly what I thought it was.

Amour: FRENCH word for Love

Although it was my intention for her to be named "love" I wanted it to be french inspired (no hate to italian, you're both beautiful languages, Venice is on my bucket list!) I just have more intimate ties to the french language. NOW, I know what you're thinking..."jazz...no one would have caught on to that..." rest assured, that's probably true but I thought it would be a funny story if it were to come up, nonetheless.

In spite of this, I'm very excited for my second book release of the year and I can't wait to share this beautiful story with you all! (btw, it's rumored that Kendrick Lamar is dropping a new album tomorrow and I REALLY hope that's true! what better than to share a release date with one of your favorite artists :))** very obvious fan girl squeels **
