Verse of the day: Acts 2:21 "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Calling all lovers of books, reading, and free cups of coffee! You NEED this book in your personal library and here's why:

My thoughts: Over the course of the past three weeks, I've been immersed into the 304 page bookstore of Wendy and Jacob Welch. From the first page, we're pulled through the door of a strange new place, a new time and a new beginning along with they themselves. A moment of realization after leaving their big city jobs in pursuit of something more to give and be apart of. A Challenge presents itself to Wendy and Jacob; to open up a bookstore in a weakened economy of street skeptics with small town mentality.

The journey was as beautiful, sad, funny, and wholesome as they come, from the trials of being the new kids on the block to the sudden call of being a coffee councilor, you are apart of the story they weave in their experiences with each individual they encounter. Wendy gives us an invitation, not to just read or write, but to experience and live in the beauty of literature and what it brings to a community of hurting people and what it presents to us lovers of reading and writing alike.

Rating: 5/5 Quills, will read again and highly recommend!

"For the love of life and literature, stay prayerful, stay positive, and write on!" :)
