Verse of the Day:

James 4:10

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you.

If I had to tell someone, "What is the most Floridian thing about you?" My seashell collection and the art that I've recently started making with them. I have a bit of coastal grandma in my blood (even though I live farther inland!) I never miss an opportunity to collect shells when I visit the beaches here. On my most recent trip to Cape San Blas, Florida, I found some of the most beautiful shells I'd ever seen :) some pretty large ones as well. We found broken sand dollars, shark teeth and tons of little purple mussels that my coworker referred to as "purple butterflies". So far, I've made a picture frame, a necklace, and quite a few trinket trays. Are there any other Floridians that sympathize with my latest obsession? :D Comment below! (include some art too!)
