As a Christian and author , both being the same in my eyes now, I see that Christ desires more active parts of my life and especially my work. As a writer I realize the value of the words God has blessed me with and how I and so many others can use them to share testimonies of strength, endurance, joy and triumph through christ. Even if implied, our stories should always reflect inspiration of true goodness against dark forces, even when the name of God of Jesus isn’t visible in ink, the work itself should be wholesome and in good character in the eyes of Christ, it should shine light to those who read it.

There are four genre’s I am most excited about and write quite often : adventure, mystery, romance and memoir. My job is to take that and use it as a way to mirror my experiences with Christ, the becoming of a Christian woman and my journey with him.

I’m learning to make christ a more active presence in my life for I know that without him, none of it would be possible. My writing has been repurposed, to inspire through the greatness of Christ, fiction or non, I pray that he guides my pen to the paper that it may find him most pleasing. This is not to say that I can’t write adventure and mystery, it says that it will be all the more better. We must remind ourselves that God would not keep anything that is good for us, away, he supplies all that we need, and what I need is surplus inspiration so that I may declare through my adventures and solved mysteries that he was involved and that through him, I am all that I am.

Are any of you classified as a Christian author? what changed after you decided this? why did you?
