Tallahassee Art Festival 2023! Peace, Love, and ART!

from The City of Tallahassee, CRA, Leon County and "Visit Tallahassee" has already proved to be a smash hit on it's first day(per usual!) I expected nothing less from one of the most anticipated festivals and social gatherings of the year! I've always looked forward to attending with family and friends, some of which have never even heard or been! (can you believe that!?)

How could one resist, the live-music, the fun, the excitement, food and culture that this lovely festival manifests within the chain of parks each year!

over the state and beyond! I've been blessed with many opportunities during this season, in fact, just last year I was a participant in the nearby Market place event right across from it! Being the social butterfly that I am, it was quite a fun time, meeting and exchanging words of wisdom and encouragement from professional artists, who are seasoned in their arena and passionate about their craft.

My love for supporting local arts and small businesses tie quite heavily into my faith and my love for people. The beginning of my spiritual walk with God revealed the importance of many aspects in my professional and personal life. For me, buying local is more than a business transaction, and even more than social interaction, it's about showcasing genuine love and care to people who have done the work necessary to be where they are and those aspiring to get there. As an artist and a believer of God, supporting small business is very personal and spiritual to me. I can only hope that in time, I be able to pour back into my community in the same ways in which it has raised and nurtured me. :) That's what makes the art festival so beautiful and unique, it's a community of like minds and hearts, united in all that is ART.

For those who have never been, I encourage you to attend! The art festival is a two day weekend event going on now until 5 and tomorrow (April 16th) starting at 10:00 a.m and ending at 5:00 p.m. It truly is wholesome and fun for the entire family! (pets are welcomed too!) just be sure to have on a good pair of walking shoes, keep those water bottles full and enjoy the beauty that is art!
