The Summer of Sandrone and Space Travel: Let's Discuss! :)

Where do I even begin!? Calling all Genshin Impact players, This years Summer event is AWESOME :). Featuring the emotional return of Snezhnaya's own Sandrone as a playable character, a cool aquarium/underwater venture, a Fontaine movie festival and an epic trip to the moon, I am quite impressed with how much went into this years event. NOW, in my personal defense, I'm a bit of a late bloomer to the Genshin world, I wasn't here during the Summer events that I've seen many other players compare this one with AND it's the first time I've been in a position to participate fully. Here's my thoughts:

1. Sandrone!!!!!

   When I realized they would be bringing her back, I was completely overjoyed. I was curious about what her weapon and gameplay would be, considering she's a robot and she's tasked with building a lot of the mechanical features of Teyvat. Seeing her reunite with Columbina brought me to tears! :') so happy to have you back my lady :).

   

   I still can't believe I actually got her! :)

2. Fontaine Movie Festival

   I thought it was a charming idea for Fontaine to host a movie festival, given their history and obsession with live drama's (to put it lightly) at least no ones being dissolved this time. Having Columbina be apart of it all and really bring the emotion, leading up to Sandrone's reappearance really made it a 10/10 moment. Charlotte getting to have her moment in the spotlight was really awesome too, plus I love her new outfit!

3. Fishing for a Living

   Out of all of the Professional ventures I expected Sandrone to explore, running an aquarium was definitely not one of them. It would make more sense for her to own a tea shop or even make fascinating gadgets and toys for children, nonetheless I enjoyed the gameplay mechanics and had a great time bringing it all to life!

   

   Anyone else find it darling that she has a love for piano?

4. One Step For Paimon

   I could not gather my bearings for how GORGEOUS the graphics were in space, let it be known that Genshin released a map of the moon before GTA 6 arrived!

   The fact that we can even return to the crash sight of the travelers ship feels like such a full circle moment...and makes me realize how close to the end of this story we really are. Everything about exploring the moon from the giant Kuuhenki, to the absolute marvels of the Moontide sea, it was everything I could have imagined it would be and more! :)

   

   So pretty!
