Crown of Knowledge, Wisdom and Woes

Fortress of spines and pages bound by time,

Grant me access to all that is beautiful, horrific,

true and divine.

Columns of information, wonders, mysteries, and fairy-tales

sublime, gathered in nooks, in rivers of twine.

Windows of glass not lacking transparency

portals and gateways of eternal expectancy.

May I be pardoned to dwell in your sections, to be seated in

your grace of written collections?

Thankful shall I be, with my blessings and jewels,

with promises of adventure old or new,

Give me a kingdom I can read, throw me inside and bury the key!
