Verse of the Day Luke 1:26

In case you were looking for my return blog, I posted it to my facebook page @Jazzy Boo Howard! Don't forget to go have a look! Happy Reading. :)

My thoughts? It was just as entertaining to read as it was to watch in anime form! Ruby's still a silver eyed cutie who's not to be played with in battle (or about her team), Weiss is still an ice queen with a warm spot only big enough for Ruby, Blake is still a pretty enigma with all the answers to any question and Yang is still eye candy......KIDDING!, she's still the hot headed and fierce blonde I've known and adored. All of the original cast has stuck to their usual dynamics and ways which includes Juane, Velvet, Penny, and others. However, I was a bit confused by the formation of the story line, I'm not sure if they are "Inside stories" you know, like deleted scenes of certain episodes or like a series of misadventures in no particular order (such as Archie and friends before Riverdale).

I want to ask those who may have read the book already. Are the stories in any particular order based on the anime sequence of events or no? (taking into account that the anime was first).

The illustrations were beautifully done, especially the front cover which features a Scythe wielding Ruby and a silver rose beside her adorned with petals. (I really wish the whole book were done in the same vibrant color). The stories were all the perfect harmony of serious and seriously funny, the vibe of humor and heart wrenching that made RWBY such a dynamic anime (not to mention the AMAZING soundtrack). Anyone looking for an adventure you can't put down that retells an old tale of good vs evil, this is a must read for you! (and of course if you're into anime and manga)

My score? 5 out of 5 Quills :)
